For the last couple of months I’ve been struggling with writer’s block. Not sure what to say about anything because so much is/has happened. Then there are the things that you don’t just blog about that happen. And so with all of these things going on, I’m still struggling with writer’s block. I started two posts a while back that never made it. Now they’re a bit outdated. So today, I’m just going to post pictures, and hope they tell a story of some sort. They aren’t all in perfect order, but here they are.
Dru and I playing in the children’s amusement area at Big C. Frank snapped this picture.
Snuggles with Aunty Frank.
Just goofin’ round.
“Look, Mom.”
Chicken is serious business.
A “gas cupboard” we stopped at on our motorbikes. We got a babysitter and went up to the hot springs with Frank before she left to go back home. Mae Wahn babysat.
We’re cool.
We went to the Night Safari with Mae Wahn. Jube desperately wanted to hold a rabbit and was chasing them about in an effort to catch one. We were playing with the birds when I looked up to find that he’d found one just his size in one of the rabbit hutches. He was delighted.
I didn’t realize how big these beasts were. (Meaning the giraffe, not Jube and Frank.)
A baby goat escaped so Jube and Hallah got to feed it.
Shopping with Mae Wahn. Dru and I were instructed to go do something else for a while so she could have Frank to herself. (And buy her stuff with out us to bother them.)
Coffee shop stop.
Not quite stuck but not overly comfortable.
On the way to the airport.
Doughnut shop stop.
Goofy. We hung out at the Mall for awhile cause it was to early to to the airport.
Peanuts.
Out my front door one day.
New helmet.
One cold morning. It was cold enough that morning that I closed kitchen down and fired up the oven. We had baked oatmeal for breaky.
Another cold morning. Puzzles on Aunty Frank’s bed. Dru got Jube that puzzle for Christmas and I thought it might be a bit above him but no such thing. He loves it.
Dru bought me new shoes one night when we were on a date. The children like to play with them but I only let them do so upstairs. And we don’t spend much time up there during the day, so my shoes are mostly safe.
Out for a run in the new helmet.
Happy girl. She thought having a new helmet was the best thing.
Mae Wahn took us to the airport because there were supposed to be lots of fun things to do. We were there to early for the activity she wanted to do and there were people, literally thousands of them. It was a bad idea, but we had a couple good moments.
A good moment of stopping for cotton candy.
Happy thing around here is play dough.
Jube and I are working through this coloring book and the Bible stories to go with it. It’s Rod and Staff’s preschool curriculum. I’m so thankful for it. Thanks Dot!
Happy time, watering flowers.
Nice posting, Lisl. They're playmates for real now, aren't they?
ReplyDeleteShe is getting so big! Looks they have lots of fun together. Thank you for the pictures. By the way why is the font so small an your blog?
